Susan Lewis- Photographer
As a child, I always remember wanting to be a photographer. I remember my first camera and how I would run around my house and my neighborhood taking pictures of anything that would stand still. Of course, that was in the days of film shooting, so I have my mother to thank for printing those hundreds of photos, which I still have today.
While working on my Undergraduate degree from Worcester State College in Psychology and Education, I decided to take courses in photography. During this time, I was also working for "Moment in Time Video Productions". I attended and assisted hundreds of weddings. Throughout those years of working with Moment in Time, I was responsible for the still shots used in the videos. People would remark about how much they liked these pictures, it was then that I began offering a photo package alongside the videos. After a few years, I realized that I would love to start a company of my own, focusing on affordable wedding photography. Upon completion of my Master's Degree in 2010, I launched this company.
I am also a kindergarten teacher in Webster, Ma. My business works beautifully with my teaching, as the majority of weddings that I do, take place in the summer or on weekends! I feel like I have the best of both worlds. |
